      Preemptive Strike 0.1
      "T.A.L.O.S"

PreEmptiveStrike 0.1 was created in 2002 in Agios Nicolaos on the island ofCrete in Greece by Jim 'The Blaster' and Cryon. Having workedtogether before on electronic projects, they decided to form a bandmaking the kind of music they enjoyed, combining the harsh DarkElectro/EBM sound with powerful melodies, eastern elements and sci-fithemes. 2005 was a landmark year for the band. The inclusion in the'Endzeit Bunkertracks:Act I' compilation by Alfa Matrix with thetrack 'Lethal Defense Systems', fortified the band. It also marks thebeginning of the bands cooperation with producer Dimitris Ntouvras atLunatech Sounds Studios. The start of 2006 saw the debut release byPreEmptive Strike 0.1 entitled "Lethal Defense Systems"produced by Dimitris N. and mastered by Vasi Vallis (ex-NamNamBulu,Reaper, Frozen Plasma). Additionally, the band appeared on variouscompilations and continued to work on new material andremixes.Unfortunately, PES 0.1 was forced to remain inactive for mostof 2006, due to military obligations. Once military duties werefulfilled, 2007 saw the band back and fully operational Now, the waitis over. PES 0.1 unleashed the second wave of attack with the highlyacclaimed album releases "Extinction Reprogrammed" fand"The Kosmokrator". Dark, aggressive melodies, harsh vocals, and an intriguingly original blend make "T.a.l.o.s." theirstrongest release to date! Combining traditional cretan music withthe ebm forms by using a real LYRA player musician with recitation ofthe ancient greek languange with unique guest appearances fromShiv-r, Phosgore, Raven Wings, Project Rotten and Niklas Kvarforth oflegendary, Swedish black metallers Shining/Skitliv!
