      The Birthday Massacre
      "Hide And Seek"

On their best album to date, Canadian high flyers The Birthday Massacre deliver a versatile and addictive mix of Electro Pop, New Wave, Gothic and Metal in ten potential hit songs. Mixed by Dave “Rave” Oglivie (producer/mixer for David Bowie, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, to name but a few), “Hide And Seek” is a captivating trio into a darkly colourful wonderland. The German first edition will be released in a limited Digipak.
The band and their energetic lead singer Chibi showcase their most mature song writing effort, ever, combined with an increased focus on electronics for maximum impact, more than ever before toying with musical extremes. So, do expect a lot of unexpected twists and turns along the course of the album’s ten ultra-catchy tunes: a groovy Electro-disco-tune might suddenly extend its claws and turn into a Nu-Metal-onslaught with walls of guitars. Mixed by Dave “Rave” Oglivie (producer/mixer for David Bowie, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, to name but a few), “Hide And Seek” will be released as a limited first edition in a lavish Digipak is The Birthday Massacre’s personal masterpiece: catchy as hell, but full of surprises, hard edges and metamorphoses. The Canadian group has outdone itself and manages to create an emotional pull that will leave you utterly addicted. A fusion of New Order, Blondie, Garbage, Linkin Park, The Cure and Marilyn Manson? The Birthday Massacre can be all of this and so much more and have consolidated their reputation of being one of the scene’s most outstanding and unique bands.
