      Spetsnaz
      "For Generations To Come"

      Label: Scanner (2013)
The EBM duo Spetsnaz was formed in Örebro, Sweden in the autumn of 2001 by Stefan Nilsson and Pontus Stålberg and their debut ‘Grand Design’ appeared in 2003, followed by selected shows in Sweden, Germany and Mexico. In 2004 the album was re-released as ‘Grand Design: Redesigned’ by Leading German electro label Out Of Line and since then, Spetsnazhave been conquering the World with a number of highly successful Eps and singles (Perfect Body, Degenerate Ones, Hardcore Hooligans) and 2 more albums (‘Totalitär’ and ‘Deadpan’). Hit tracks like ‘On the Edge’, ‘Apathy’, ‘Faust- Pakt’ or ‘Allegiance’ fill the dance floors in electronic music clubs since and the band played shows in all important festivals and on countless tours, including the US. After five years of silence with only sporadic club and festival shows it’s now time for the fourth full length album from the Swedish duo: An album packed with electronic body music that will move people on dance floors all over the world and for sure yet another example of the diversity and strength of the band’s musical skills. Pounding basses, harsh but melodic voices, exciting synthesizers and as always with something to be pointed out in the lyrics.
The bands earlier carrier moved them from venues in the north home of Scandinavia to as far south as
Mexico, from Los Angeles in the west to Moscow in the east. With ‘For Generations to come’ Spetsnaz are eager to go even further as oneís for sure: If Spetsnaz used to be the leaders of a new EBM wave some years ago, they for sure again and still are at the Top with this monster of an album!
