      Covenant
      "Europa"

      Label: Off Beat
In summary, Europa is an uneven effort that shines in places but seems to be treading water in others. While Covenant's more conventional material is better than most in the genre, and is what got them recognized, I'd personally like to hear more experimentation along the lines of the last two tracks. Maybe that's my retro streak speaking, but while the 80s sound of these tracks is noticeable, at the same time they're the freshest material on the album.
