      The New Divison garners the respect of listeners who crave for nostalgia with a modern twist. What they deliver with 'Shadows' is – frankly – sensational!
      This American act has never made a secret of how they picked their bandname. Mixing their two major influences New Order and Joy Division together. However the music is so much more than just another 'copycat'. The band mixes classic electronic pop and minimal with modern indiepop. You can clearly hear traces of Depeche Mode, The Cure, Editors and more, much more.
      The New Division are simply the perfect example of a band having one foot in the 80ies and the other in 2012. American independent media has praised the band as the biggest newcomers for ages. Even the worlds biggest and most important blog Pitchfork call them the next huge thing to break in America. Their first EP that was only released digitally was high on the iTunescharts in North America last year. Now it's finally time for the rest of the world to discover this amazing act. A must for all fans of electronic and indiepop music. 2012 will for sure be the breakthrough year for this nothing less than amazing four man band….
