“Gold und Liebe”, originally released in late 1981 on Virgin Records, was the fourth album of the German-American Friendship aka DAF, produced by Conny Plank in his legendary studio near Cologne.
Robert Görl played all the instruments, while Gabi Delgado wrote and sang the vocals, with the exception of “El Que”, for which Robert Görl also contributed the lyrics. The artwork was designed by Ken Ansell (The Design Clinic) and Ansell Sadgrove (A. S.). The longplayer contains 10 tracks, including the DAF trademark anthem “Verschwende deine Jugend”.
