Terms And Conditions

1. General Information
The Braincorp. shop/ office is based in central Copenhagen. It´s possible to pick-up orders at the office.
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

2. Products
We sell physical music media, including vinyl records, CDs, and cassette tapes. All products are new unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product listing.
We take great care to describe condition and edition accurately. If you have any questions about a specific item before purchasing, please contact us.

3. Placing an Order
When you place an order on our website, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — it is simply an acknowledgement that we have received it.
A binding purchase agreement is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a shipping confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if:
– An item is found to be out of stock after the order is placed
– A pricing error has occurred on the website
– Payment cannot be authorised
In such cases, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

4. Prices & Payment
All prices are listed in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT (25%) where applicable. For orders shipped outside the EU, VAT may not apply — this will be calculated at checkout.
We accept the following payment methods:
– Credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard and more)
– MobilePay (Danish Customers)

5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1 Shipping Destinations
We ship worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination country and the weight of the order.

5.2 Dispatch Times
Orders are typically dispatched within 3 – 5 business days of payment being received and if they are in stock. During busy periods (e.g. record store events, sales), dispatch may take slightly longer — we will communicate any delays by e-mail.
5.3 Delivery Times (estimated)
– Denmark: 3 – 5 business days
– EU/Europe: 3 – 7 business days
– Rest of world: 7 – 21 business days
These are estimates only. We cannot guarantee delivery times once a parcel is in the hands of the postal carrier.
We recommend that you order more than 1 item outside the EU, due to the high shipping costs. You can order
up 2 KG (7 Vinyls / 15 CDs)

5.4 Packaging
All records and media are packed with care to prevent damage in transit. Vinyl is shipped in sturdy mailers with cardboard stiffeners. Multiple records are packed in appropriately sized boxes.

5.5 Customs & Import Duties
For orders outside the EU, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may be charged by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We are unable to predict or control these fees.
We are required by law to declare the full value of goods on customs forms and cannot mark shipments as gifts to avoid duties.

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
If you are a consumer residing in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within the 14-day period by e-mail at the site Get In Touch. You must then return the item(s) within 14 days of notifying us.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
– Sealed audio recordings (CDs, vinyl, cassettes) that have been unsealed after delivery
Returned items must be in the same condition as received, with original packaging where possible. The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error.
Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [EMAIL]. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. In the case of damage, we may ask you to return the item, but we will cover the cost of return postage.

8. Privacy & Personal Data
We collect and process personal data (name, address, e-mail, phone number) solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and communicating with you about it.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil your order (e.g. postal carriers).
We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [EMAIL].

9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 business days.
If we are unable to reach a satisfactory resolution, EU consumers can use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Danish law. Any disputes arising from purchases made through our website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
