Huir´s album “States of Light” explores four states of mind, where light and darkness emerge and become symbols of emotion, resilience, transformation, and release. Produced, mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon…) at La Distilleria in Bassano del Grappa (Italy). The Vinyl is a limited Blue Transparent Vinyl.
Huir is a dark synth duo, composed by Ana of the Head (vocals & synthesizers) and David Solazo (guitars & drums). The band was formed in June 2022, and in April 2023, they released their first EP on Cold Transmission. In february 2025 they unleashed a digital-only Remix EP, featuring artists such as The KVB, Buzz Kull, R. Missing and Fragrance, again mastered by Baggio.
Here now finally their all new (mini-)Album, which they will be presenting live across Europe from October 2025 to 2026. Throughout their path, Huir has shared the stage with iconic acts such as The Chameleons (2023) and Lebanon Hanover (2025). Their live journey includes festivals and venues such as Primavera Sound (Barcelona, 2025), Ombra Festival (Barcelona, 2025), as well as multiple dates in Germany including the Cold Transmission Label Night (Rüsselsheim), Cold Temple Festival III (Oberhausen), Eastside Open Festival (Leipzig), Cruïlla Festival (Barcelona) and Cold Hearted Festival (Dresden).
