KMFDM are so many things, but above all one: legendary pioneers of industrial rock. The band, which once took Rammstein with them on their US tour as an opening act, still stands for the distinctive crossover sound between techno/dance and heavy metal with the usual purist, partly political, partly sarcastic lyrics.
On their new album “Hell Yeah” the band around KMFDM protagonists Sascha Konietzko and Lucia Cifarelli does not shy away from harsh tones and words.
So it’s no wonder that KMFDM have been considered the epitome and synonym for music of the harder kind for well over a quarter of a century.
