Following Morphogenesis, Paradox Obscur’s new album, ikona explores a broad spectrum of influences primarily through digital hardware synthesizers (Wavetable & FM), largely setting aside analog signals. The exception is the analog-tinged anthem ‘Like A Freak’.
Maintaining their signature real-time orchestrations and old-school recording process, this album avoids the typical copy/paste DAW workflow. Paradox Obscur continues to carve a unique path, creating music without reliance on virtual tricks.
