Ophelia Lecomte and Franck Pelliccioli founded Saigon Blue Rain in September 2012. “Oko” is the project’s 4th regular album and first one to be released by ICY COLD. Saigon Blue Rain are based in Paris and their music incorporates various influences, including Cold Wave, Dark Wave, Post Punk, New Wave and Shoegaze, among other sounds.
This their latest stands for the culmination of 10 years in developing and improving their ability to create amazing music: Ten tracks of darkest atmospheres in between dream and nightmares, disgust and desire. The first single “The Mort” … Dark Wave as death … is going strong on youtube and “Visions”, the album’s second single, is more Post Punk oriented and deals with the issue of depression and seeks to depict this psychological condition.
