Empathy Test’s first live album, recorded live, on their 2022 headline tour of Germany. No overdubs, no autotune or pitch correction, just the raw recordings mixed and mastered by non-performing producer member, Adam Relf.
Over the past nine years, Empathy Test has evolved from complete obscurity to become one of the best known and loved bands in the European and American alternative electronic music scenes, with dedicated listeners all around the world. Aside from consistently releasing high quality music, Empathy Test has toured as support for the likes of VNV Nation, Covenant, Mesh and Aesthetic Perfection, working their way up through the line-ups of German alternative music festivals like Wave Gotik Treffen, Mera Luna, Amphi, Plage Noire and NCN, before headlining their own tours of Germany, France, and the UK. The band is now starting an extensive North American Tour with 30+ dates in October 2023.
The London duo consisting of childhood friends Isaac Howlett (singer, songwriter) and Adam Relf (composer, producer) has been writing music described by the press as „gorgeous“ and „sumptous“ (Clash Magazine) featuring „timelessly melancholy melodies“ (Hymn). Entirely on their own, EMPATHY TEST have sold over 4000 vinyls and 6000 CDs through self-distribution
