New album fra Rue Oberkampf. The German word “Wehmut” does not exist in the English language. It describes a feeling suspended between melancholy and nostalgia.
A longing for something lost or remembered. A yearning for a beautiful place you once knew, or one you have never been to, yet somehow miss all the same.
This album was inspired by the beautiful mystic nature of the Bavarian forest, especially on the “Goldsteig” path, by the forces of the ocean between Antwerp (Belgium) and Hanko (Finland), by the wonderful “Wanderweg” zines of Haus Nostromo, by the challenges of being human, and by a nourishing mixture of Zeitgeist and Post Metal music.
