Strikkland´s album Hommage is a tribute to the music we grew up with and got inspired by. It is also a tribute to how records were made back in the days, something we find important to advocate today when AI has been introduced to the music industry.
We are proud to say that no corners were cut when making this album and we DID NOT use any form of artificial technology during the production process. Instead we mainly relied on classic studio equipment, recording techniques, hardware synthesizers and drum machines. Just like back in the days. Hommage was recorded at Svenska Grammonfonstudion in Gothenburg and mixed at Hansa Studios Berlin in 2023/2024.
