Composed, performed and produced by Cosey Fanni Tutti (ex Chris & Cosey), the 9-track album moves between driving beat constructions and expansive electronic explorations, continuing the themes of 2019’s highly acclaimed album “Tutti”. It is a personal reflection, a sonic realization of her life that draws on her powerful inner determination and expresses it through music. On the album, Cosey comes to terms with some very difficult years in which she dealt with personal losses as well as shattering world events that have affected us all. The two different sides of the album – one rhythmic, the other more meditative – are linked by an overwhelmingly positive vibe: “Once you start creating and listening to sounds, weaving and collaging, it’s a wonderfully fulfilling feeling that takes you both out of yourself and deep inside.”
As a founding member of the highly influential avant-garde band Throbbing Gristle, as one half of electronic pioneers Chris and Cosey, and as an artist channeling her experiences as a porn model and striptease dancer, her work on the margins has reshaped the mainstream. Her first solo album, Time To Tell (1983), was followed by 2019’s Tutti and 2022’s Delia.
